What is Interlibrary Loan (ILL)?

Interlibrary Loan is a service in which one library (such as the Cornette Library) borrows a book, etc. from another library for the use of an individual (you!).

Generally there is no charge, but you will be contacted in advance to authorize a fee, if there will be one.

Create an Interlibrary Loan Account

Using Interlibrary Loan (ILL) for the first time:

  1. Go to the Cornette Library homepage
  2. Click on the link to "Services"
  3. Click on Interlibrary Loan Request
  4. Click Try Tipasa
  5. Click on WTStudent/Faculty/Staff or Registered Guest if you purchased ILL Friends of the Library access.
  6. Clicking on WT etc. status will take you to the SSO page to authenticate
  7. If it says that it can not find your account, go back to Interlibrary Loan Request, click Try Tipasa, and see if it brings up your account.
  8. Your ILL requests with Tipasa will be integrated with your My Library Card Portal found on the Library's Website.
