Beth Vizzini works diligently in the library to ensure our lights stay on and the elevator works. She covers it all, even when bats are loose in the library.
But you may not realize that she works just as diligently outside of work to make her community better.
She’s a part of the WTAMU Campus Beautification Advisory Committee, so she has a say in what our campus looks like. In addition, she is a member of the Texas Beta Omega chapter of the Beta Sigma Phi. Their chapter does the annual “Yarn Bombing” on campus every January. In addition, they sell flags and other Independence Day items at Canyon's Fourth of July parade to raise funds for Meals on Wheels. Also, they collect peanut butter for Fill With Hope (formerly Known as Snack Pack 4 Kids).
When she’s at home, she enjoys indulging in chocolate, cuddling up with one of her dogs or cats, and diving into a good Science Fiction novel.
If you happen to catch her between tasks, meetings, or appointments, be sure to give her a quick hello!
