LGBTQIA+ holdings at the Cornette Library

Materials in the library's catalog are assigned controlled subject terms, usually from Library of Congress Subject Headings, to define precisely what the work is about.

While there are easily over a hundred LC Subject Headings relevant to LGBTQIA+ topics, most of them include common words, and so we can instead search just for works that include any of 20 different terms.

You can find more details on the linked "Subject terms" page.

Books you can borrow

Books we have online

You can also use click through and read any of the many LGBTQIA eBooks we have online. These cover health, law, literature, education, history, and much more.

Journals and articles

We subscribe to many journals online that focus on LGBTQIA topics; if you click through to the full text of any, you can generally browse it by issue or conveniently search just within it.

Gov docs, theses, & more

Dozens, at least, of government documents in our collection are on LGBTQIA topics, but our Government Documents Librarian should be able to help you find more.

We have in our archives at least eight masters theses on LGBTQIA topics produced by WT graduate students. The most recent such theses can also be read online.

We also have a few specialized works on our Reference Shelves and at least one item of note in our Special Collections.
