One time preliminary steps:
Create a personalized EBSCO account, using the Sign In link on the database search page.
Download an additional app/software to the device you will use.
On an Apple device, you must use Safari. On Android, use any browser.
Log into your personal EBSCO account.
Find a book of interest.
Click the link Download (offline).
On the popup window, click Download. The book will open in the software you use for reading.
You can use the book on multiple devices:
On the new device, go to the database and log into your individual account.
Click the My Checkouts link in the upper left area.
Repeat steps 3 and 4.
All titles can be checked out for 14 days. If you need a book longer, repeat these steps.
Or check out a title through the EBSCO app
Tap Find Books.
Select your library (Happily, it will remember West Texas A&M Univ after the first time.)
If off campus, log in with your WT credentials.
Search for and find books.
Click the link Download.
Sign in when prompted to your personal EBSCO account.
You can use the book on multiple devices:
On the new device, go to the app and click on the folder to log into your personal EBSCO account.
Click the My Checkouts option in the upper right.
Click Download.

Android warning: as of January 2018, the Android app tends to log you out as soon as you switch briefly to another app or your device goes to sleep. iOS doesn't have this problem.
