A drainage improvement project for the east side of the Cornette Library is slated to start sometime in late August or early September. The library's east entrance will not be blocked off, nor will the sidewalk leading from our east entrance to 26th Street. However, a portion of the sidewalk just north of the Sculpture Garden will be blocked off to dig a trench across the sidewalk. The area around the Sculpture Garden will also be blocked off. This project is expected to last a week.

In addition to the drainage improvement project, one of the Cornette Library's air handlers will be replaced this fall. The project is expected to occur between October 2 and November 2, and will affect the library's northside and Marmaduke Center. This work should not block the library's dock or the sidewalk located on the north side of the building. However, the north entrance to the Marmaduke Center may be blocked for a week. There will be some noise associated with this project that will affect offices and study rooms located on the north side of the building and we will mitigate these noise issues as they arise.
