    Oxford Art Online provides access to Grove Art Online and other Oxford art reference resources. Grove Art Online is the foremost scholarly art encyclopedia, covering both Western and non-Western art. First published as the 34-volume Dictionary of Art, it includes over 45,000 signed articles and images on every aspect of the visual arts, contributed by nearly 7,000 international scholars, as well as nearly 7,000 searchable images and 40,000 editorially selected image links to museums and galleries.

    Over 1.6 million digital images. Includes contributions from international museums, photographers, libraries, scholars, photo archives, artists, and artists' estates. Valuable for art history, African-American history, anthropology, decorative arts, fashion and costume, languages and literature, medieval studies, music history, theatre and dance, and much more.

Finding articles, books, and more

  • JSTOR  
    Back volumes for 880 journals from volume 1, issue 1, but not the most current 2-5 years. About 20 titles have coverage through the most recent issue, and about 5 have current but not historical coverage. General subject areas include art & architecture, Asian studies, botany, ecology, economics, education, finance, history, language & literature, mathematics, music, philosophy, political science, population studies, sociology and statistics.
  • Discover
    Searches most library databases, our catalog, many individual publishers, and some open access journals and sources, using software called EBSCO Discovery Service (EDS).
  • Catalog of Cornette Library  
    Finds books, government documents, and journal titles (print and online) owned by Cornette Library. Will also locate outstanding websites that have been included in the catalog. Searchable by keyword, author, title, subject.
  • Dissertations and Theses Global  
    Provides full text for over 1.7 million dissertations and masters theses from U.S. and international academic institutions and abstracting and indexing for 3.8 million.
