    • The majority of recent documents are available as full-text PDF downloads.
    • Make sure to limit to document type - dissertations.
    • If you have an entry in PsycINFO labeled Dissertation Abstracts, come here and search directly.
  • Web of Science
    • Multi-disciplinary, international search, primarily of the scholarly literature.
    • Provides unique ways to sort and evaluate a results list:
      • Sort by number of times cited
      • Sort by author
      • Sort by relevance, which is the typical default
      • Sort by date
      • Limit by academic field
    • Find related articles based on shared citation lists
    • Follow citations forward in time.

  • Link is in the header.
  • Select the Social Sciences Edition
  • Use Subject category to view discipline lists. Hold down the CTRL key while highlighting to select multiple items.
  • Sortable by various metrics:
    • Impact Factor - how important journal is
    • Immediacy Index - how quickly literature is re-cited.
    • Cited half-life - span of time over which articles are still cited

Interlibrary Loan

Found or need information (e.g. articles, books, etc.) that we don't have access to? You can get it via Interlibrary Loan Details (ILL).

WTAMU students, faculty, staff, and Friends of Cornette Library (Supporting level and above) can use Interlibrary Loan (ILL) to borrow research materials from the collections of other libraries.

ILL Office hours are Monday-Friday 8AM to 5PM. Contact the Interlibrary Loan department at (806) 651-2406.
