Faculty Poster Session and Research Fair

This Poster Session and Research Fair provides a forum for WTAMU faculty members to present their current research in an informal and interactive setting.

What is this about?

The Faculty Poster Session and Research Fair provide a forum for WTAMU faculty to present their current research in an informal and interactive setting. It is an excellent venue for recipients of Killgore Grants to share their research with the WTAMU community, and it offers a unique opportunity for faculty to engage in discussions with colleagues and students. This year will look and feel a bit different due to the current climate; however, our hope is to maintain the interactive and engaging atmosphere within a digital setting.

Poster exhibits should pertain to research published in a peer-reviewed journal, book, multimedia/digital presentation, or presented at a conference since 2017, or research in progress.  Posters will be displayed in Cornette Library’s 1st-floor gallery. Poster participants will be allotted a 4’ wide by 6’ high display space; handouts will be accommodated. If your research has been published in book format, you are welcome to bring a copy of the book.

If you have published a book(s) since 2017, we encourage you to showcase your book(s). We will have a designated area in which to feature books published by faculty since 2017 both in-person and virtual.

Though we will still include physical posters within the library, the event itself, on March 4th, will be held virtually. More details will be coming soon on what that will look like - you can expect a similar feel of showcasing your research and discussions with colleagues and students. We look forward to expanding our research and creating a new way of sharing what great things our faculty here at WT have been working on!
