May 28, "Letters from the Dust Bowl: Caroline Henderson's Life in the Oklahoma Panhandle." A presentation by Dr. Jean Stuntz, Professor of History, WTAMU. 7:00 pm - 8:45 pm. Southwest Branch, Amarillo Public Library (6801 W. 45th). Light refreshments. 

May 1-August 26, Dust Drought, and Dreams Gone Dry: A Traveling Exhibit about the Dust Bowl An exhibit with materials from the libraries at Oklahoma State University & Mount Holyoke College that includes oral histories, letters, & other writings from some who lived through the Dust Bowl era.
