In and About the Library

Club Cornette

Welcome to Club Cornette! Our mission is to provide a community in the library and create opportunities for students in the heart of the campus. Once a month we meet during lunch to discuss upcoming events and what we can do to assist the library. Some of the library events we participate in include Kickback. During Kickback, the library is filled with service dogs, crafts, video games, and coffee so students can relax before finals begin.

Two new activities Club Cornette has launched include a dance and an open mic night that give students the opportunity to perform music, poetry, and comedy pieces. Club Cornette also provides snow cones and prizes to celebrate the end of the semester.

We are always looking for new members and fresh ideas to include in the library and throughout the community. There are no fees or dues to join, and you get a free lunch once a month! All we ask is that you attend at least two events during the year, serve on one of the planning committees, and after attending three meetings, you will receive a free t-shirt. We would love to have you stop by and experience the fun. Our goal is to bring more people into this organization who love the campus community and are looking for an opportunity to help others. Don’t forget to follow us on social media!
